I can tell you after much testing and reading Seo has changed in a big way, the Penguin update hit 1000's of sites and if you don't follow some basic guidelines you will be hit and lose your rankings. One of the kwy factors since this update in anchor text keyword density, I lost two sites because my targeted keyword was about 60% of my backlink profile.

Make sure you use the 20,40,40 rule and you wont go far wrong, 40% generic anchor text (click here, visit this site, View here) and 40% Brand (url,business name, product name) and for you targeted keyword you should be aiming for around 20%, for me this has gotten me the best results. Link diversity is now imperative, ignore it at your peril!.

 

i think , SEO offpage and OnPage is Balance and equally important
