I have an ecommerce website: http://www.thebeadchest.com

Two months ago, I had nearly 300 pages indexed by Google.
Today, I Have around 100 pages indexed by Google, and it keeps falling.

My site has a Google Sitemap in robots.txt, and I have submitted it via Webmaster tools as well.

I have no idea why this drop is occurring. Could it have anything to do with Google instant?

The only other changes that occurred with my site since two months ago are:
    1) I submitted my website to a couple hundred free directories
    2) I added more pages to the site , which I thought would help

Does anyone have any idea?? I am panicking. Thank you

There will be times Google shows different indexing results. just check your site on different machines (i mean different IP) and examine the results, if the results are same you can surely tell that Google is dropping your pages. if so you need a thorough analytic to your web site need to find the exact cause of this. there might be reasons like try to include spam contents, duplicate contents, duplicate Meta tags, server load, hosting issue, 404 error, server not responding and more

Well there's always the possibility that Google is on it's period and is destroying your website's rank for fun but Occam's Razor would suggest that you're doing something wrong.
