ODP to AVI possible?

    Hey everyone!

    I'm looking for a program which I can use to convert .odp files (OpenOffice's Powerpoint) into an .avi file or any other sort of movie format.

    I'm making a documentary for a class and I can't figure out the best way to add my pictures in a slideshow format to the movie. Any advice you can give would be great, even if it's another program.

    (I tried Proshow and it works great but I'm not paying $30 for a one time thing. I'm not going out and buying office for powerpoint, either. ;))

    Already looked at that; unfortunately it only lets you convert ODPs to other powerpoint formats, not to video. :(

    Edit: I just figured out a workaround. Thank you anyway everyone!
