I am on a new dedicated server and am trying to set up an auto RSS feed in WP (autoblogger). I have tried four different plugins and have the same problem with each feed, which were verified as valid. Each plugin either cannot parse the feed or simply won't read it even though it appears the plugin is installed correctly. I also set up a forum (MyBB) and the RSS auto poster plugin on the same server and got the same results - plugin installs, will not pull in anything from the feed. Also, just noticed when I go to enter my Akismet API Key, I get this message: The key you entered could not be verified because a connection to akismet.com could not be established. Please check your server configuration. I have double checked everything I can think of. Any ideas? Thx.
