I've seen this odd trend with Google rankings on two of my sites for the past month and wanted to know if anyone else has seen the same thing. It seems like this shouldn't be happening, because I thought Google would consider this spam, but I guess not. I have two websites, which have pages that are named very similarly to the main page, and those pages are ranking higher than the homepage. So, www.keyword1.com/keyword1-tips ranks higher than www.keyword1.com. The same thing occurs for another site of mine with a different keyword. Is this unusual, or has it always been like that?
