Odd Question About "Ship Date"

    This is a bit of an oddball question, but here goes.

    After ordering a laptop, on the "Tracking Page" on the website, it says "Estimated Ship Date: 12/8/08".

    Now, what does that mean? Does it means it arrives to me on 12/8 or leaves the factory and begins shipping on 12/8?

    Dunno if you guys would know, figured I might of well as try though.

    it means the estimated date that they will ship it to you (e.g the day it will leave their factories). normally they will include 'estimated arrival date', which is when it would reach you. :)

    It means the laptop will be shipped/delivered to you on 12/8 .
