Odd anomaly in billing since last upgrade

We are currently running Optigold ISP 3.3.7 with the latest CCAuthorize 3.4.6.

We are running Filemaker Pro 6.

We have had no problems since the upgrade, save one.

On one of our customers, when we try and process their CC, we get the following error message:

    Returned Code: 3

Verbose Results: Missing Parameter: MERCHANT_ID (store name)

I know this was the same error we were getting before upgrading to the latest version of Optigold and the CCAuthorize software. (And following the instructions on the forums.) But then we were getting it for all customers, because we had not filled in the Authorization Customer ID field with our store number.

All of our credit cards are processing correctly, except for this one. We have verified and reverified the credit card information, but I don't think this is the issue.

From what I can understand, Optigold is acting like we have not entered our Merchant ID for this one customer. Is that even possible?

Thank you in advance for any help anyone might offer.

Are you running a multi-company version of Optigold ISP, and if so, is that customer assigned to a secondary company?

    Shawn,

Yes. we do have multi company version. And yes, this customer is assigned to the secondary company. And yes, that would make sense why this customer is having issues, and the rest of them are not.

So that is the root of the problem, but how would I fix this? I will look on our installation, but so far I haven't seen anything for a secondary authorization ID or anything...

Thank you for the quick reply. That really helps. :)

    Shawn,

A quick fix for us at the moment is to simply change the Account class to the other business, but this is a dirty fix.

In the meantime, again, thanks for your support and information. This fix, though temporary, allowed us to bill the customer.
