    Hey everyone,

A new, improved, faster and reliable RSS feed Search Engine is out, check it out:

    http://www.Octora.com

The strong points of this service are:

    - provides extrmely fast search results
    - it is indexing anything that has RSS and Atom content in It (well, having atom support is the next step, right now is in beta testings).
    - spam free results

The search engine also provides advertising solutions for people who want to advertise their sites, and the traffic is coming from advertising until this service will be on it's own.

    Any opinions?

    Have fun!

    Vladimir

P.S. An ad to a very popular internet marketing radio station (NetBizRadio) will run this weekend I believe and will expose the service to thousands of marketers out there.

I really liked it. I think it's something very useful that will definitely come in handy in the future. The only thing I found that I would suggest changing is the logo, it really does your search engine no justice.

Thanks for sharing your opinions, the site has been improved a little bit since the last time I posted in here, and also the directory works fine.

If you have any feeds, just drop them in, the service will be free until the end of the year.

    Kind regards,

    Vladimir Ghetau

    I've submitted my feed url.

I was wondering, why are you going to charge for this service? I know that it's to make money but maybe it would be more profitable in the long run if you keep it free. I really like it and think it has a lot of potential.

    Good question E,

It will always be free to submit a feed. We won't charge for that and their feeds will be in the database and search results, but to be in the directory we are thinking of charging in the future because with the huge volumn of feeds we have this is a way to make the directory more exclusive.

It isn't a sure thing that we will charge yet, but we are strongly leaning in that direction. An option may be to have it free for everyone but have it cost for top positions in each category.

The main idea is that anyone who buys a tag-ad package, which is currently only $0.75 a tag per month, will always get in the directory as a bonus, this way.
