October 4, 2008 NO DISPLAYED PR ANYWHERE

This evening at least, no site displays any PR; all gray bars
Maybe this signals an update in the exporting of new display data
But I was relieved to see that this is for every site, not just mine
Anyone else viewing this same thing?

    OHH JEEZ I HOPE SO

I dropped down last update and have been awaiting another. I guess it doesn't really matter what PR my site gets as I find it more profitable to use adsense than to sell links online. So as long as the traffic keeps on rolling in i'll be a happy boy :)

There was a PR update last weekend, but most of the people have seen that update being reverted for their sites. May be Google is correcting things.

It's called PR export and you should not care about it a lot...
the real PR value that Google use to rank websites in the SERP's keeps on updating all the time ;)

yep, noticed my new PR4 site went back to unranked. another competing site in my niche that also debuted at PR5 also got stripped of rankings. another competing site in a different niche dropped to PR4 last week but now went back to PR5. it's like last week's google birthday PR change was reversed. maybe it was a preview of what's to come.

I didn't even notice until I read this, it's kind of strange, but I'm sure it means google is doing or planning something.

Yeah, I think Google is doing something. First of all, they had a PR "update" one short month after the last one. Now, people are seeing things change again. My site has remained stable throughout, but not everybody's has.
