http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=2518526 This member sold both of us the same articles. No need to get in the middle of any "dispute" because this member (a) violated the rules here, and (b) was foolish enough to commit obvious fraud. There isn't any way I can see to report members other than tweeting this. Hopefully a moderator will do what needs to be done.
Also, on a side note... if the articles don't even exist anywhere on our servers, it's not "obvious" fraud for us since we can't see them. The best thing to do is simply open a dispute with your payment processor, as ultimately it's a dispute between members.
You don't need to question whether the articles are real at all, not important. Seller said he'd sell the item once as per the post -- and yet you have two members who are both claiming they both accepted the same offer from the seller. And this is the reason the seller is obviously not responding! I've opened up a dispute. Seller doesn't deny he sold the item twice there either. That's the only issue.
Right... ultimately comes back to a dispute between members. We don't get involved in he-said, she-said disputes. We don't have the time to do full investigations. Technically we don't even know (for certain) if they sold anything to you at this point. It becomes quite a problem and a waste of resources to start full investigations on things... like two friends could come and say you sold them duplicate copies of child porn, and without use spending the time doing a real investigation, we have no clue. Your best course of action is to simply open a dispute with whatever payment processor you used to make the payment to them.
Already done, not too worried. Thought you'd want to know about issues like these that arise and keep potential trouble at abeyance. Thanks.
