Obtaining "Legal" UK Business databases

    Hi..

    I recently started work on 2 niche UK directories, I just found out however the person supplying me with the business databases was getting them from Yell.com [uk]. I just found out this is ilegal so cannot use them, now I am stuck and do not know what to do.

    I found this site selling a 2.2 million Uk database, http://www.specialdatabases.com/uk-business-list-database.html , the thing is how do I know this is legal to use...

    Does anyone know where I can access/buy a large legally compliant UK business database?

    What do you want to use the data for?

    For example, if you were to use it to send out information via the post, then that would be illegal as it is classed as spamming.
