OBL Vs Page Rank

    Hey guys,

    Just a quick one.

Say I have a PR8 site that I can get a link on, but it already has 100+ out going links - Would it be more beneficial getting a link on a PR4-6 site with 0 out going links.

In other words, how much does several out going links de-value a backlink or is there anyway to understand this accurately?

    Thanks

    I would prefer a PR6 website over the PR8 one.... However I'd prefer PR8 with 100 links over a PR4

It is better to get page rank 4 than page rank 8 with out going link 100.
There is no limitation of out going links de-value of a back link.
I think you should continue to promote of your site as well.

If the PR8 site page already has over 100 OBLs there is no guarantee that it will not be 200 OBLs in the future so the link juice you get from it will continue to decrease over time. Based on that info I would go with the PR6 site as long as it is relevant to your site.

Also, make sure to balance out your link building campaign by PR2 or PR1 links as high PR links is a bit fishy to Google.
