    OK Obamanation, Where to start?

    You said:
Shuts down debate? Stifles free speech?
Free speech is a constitutionally protected right. Can anyone show me an example of the SPLC causing anyone to be denied their human rights?

    Then you added;
Yeah, they do lots of good work and people are happy to donate to them. BTW, I believe they're more of a civil rights group than a charity.

    and later you went on to say;
    You mean this CIS?
    So now we're switching to La Raza? You're kinda jumping all over the place today;
However, here's what they (La Raza) have to say about it.

And right fron La Raza's own website as well.

Now you're just getting all butt hurt, :p

First, no one 'race baited' anyone. You choose to quote sources from people who are on the record for making racist statements. I merely pointed it out.
    SEMrush
Also, you have yet to show proof of anything. Go to the GAO website and find me the statistics verifing this guys claims. I did. I couldn't find it. Although, in all fairness, that doesn't mean it's not there. That is one poorly laid out site.
I did find a couple of interesting articles there though. Here and here. However they are very dated. But in neither article did I find anything that said illegals could receive EIC while not paying taxes or what the exact numbers of illegals receiving EIC was.

And I'm still eagerly awaiting proof for this.
Once again, I'm not saying it's wrong. I just want to see for myself. (And please, no more Klan sites. ;) Something ending in .gov would be nice)

And here you go from quoting white supremacists to invoking Hitler. You really are on a roll.
True, but if I didn't already know the earth was round, I'd just check his facts just to be sure. Trust but verify.

Can't stand the guy. I wanted Hillary to win. Four more years of Bill would've been sweet.

Such a long post and you never did manage a start. I won't waste my time on your whole discussion of racism, which was bogus from the moment you brought it up, though it was comic to watch you try and argue the point. Sorry that you didn't catch the point I made when I dug up articles alleging race baiting at your cherished little law firm. Sounds like you would rather go back and forth, debating who is a bigger racist and I just cant be bothered.

    This was particularly humorous:
So now its not enough to just quote a site that nobody has ever said anything bad about. Now the government is the only source of truth you consider credible? Wow. I knew the Democratic party was filled with sheeple, I've just never heard such an open and personal admission of the fact.

I'll post this, but I know it will fall as pearls before swine. After all, it doesn't come from .gov.
Of course there are other links, also not .gov to be found that report the same news:

    http://news.yahoo.com/california-dream-act-approved-illegal-immigrants-013617230.html
    http://articles.latimes.com/2011/jul/26/local/la-me-brown-dream-act-20110726
    http://www.reuters.com/article/2011/07/26/us-usa-california-dream-idUSTRE76O6FV20110726
    http://latino.foxnews.com/latino/po...ifornia-state-senate-approves-dream-act-bill/
    http://channel6newsonline.com/2011/09/california-senate-approves-college-aid-for-illegal-immigrants/
    http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/lanow/2011/08/california-dream-act-one-step-closer-to-reality.html
    http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0911/62459.html

Perhaps they are all racist! Perhaps there is some way you can spin that news to make it sound less like illegal aliens taking down taxpayer dollars, with the government aiding and abetting! Considering the open manner in which our governance supports the violation of our federal laws, a sensible person might suspect that our .gov websites are not going to be publish information that damages their agenda. Then again, listening to your logic, it sounds you have your head so buried in the sand(or some place else) that no amount of news will be accepted, and no common sense will be applied.

Did you? Did you really? Why don't you provide me some links to the racist statements on record from Edwin S. Rubenstein, the person I originally quoted. What you did is made an allegation that the man could be a racist because his article got published on a site the Southern Poverty Law Center alleges is racist because some of the many books they sell contain questionable content. Even if the SPLC was not an organization engaged in race profiteering, your argument would be flimsy at best. As I pointed out, you have nothing in the tank but to attack the bearer of news you don't like to hear.

Regarding how EITC works, it has been explained for you several times in the last several posts. Were you unable to look up the wiki link, or did you not understand it? In a nutshell, EITC gets paid as a refundable tax credit to anyone who files taxes as head of household and declares less income than a certain amount required to owe more than they get back from their refundable tax credit. If you are looking for exact numbers of illegals receiving it, did you really expect the government to publish a number like that? Perhaps next you'll expect the police to publish how many innocent people they have jailed.

Wow! No amount of proof satisfies your opinion on something that anyone with common sense could put together, but you require no proof at all to label an immigration reform site as a Klan site? Why didn't you say so sooner, and spared me the time wasting reasonable arguments on a troll.

There it is, proof I am a racist. Aren't you clever!

Have you verified the earth is round? What method did you use?

And now we have your open admission of racism. ;)

Just to give some balance as to a possible explanation for having 175 million dollars in the bank. When an organisation hires a person to do a job, let's say a markerting consultant the whole contract is often banked in advance. ie: if the job is 200,00 per year for 5 years then the money is placed in the bank to cover that contract.

If the organisation has 100 workers doing stuff then that would explain exactly why it has so much money in the bank at any one time. I'm not saying that has happened in this case, just providing a real life scenario of why a lot of organisations have a lot of money in the bank, I have seen this with my own eyes and it shouldn't be used as an argument they're profiteering in any serious debate. It needs a little more evidence before deciding it's plainly wrong.

Gee, thanks for the lesson in cash flow management! I don't really care about their 175 million dollars in the bank, or their race profiteering. Their funding sources (so long as it isn't our government) are giving them money with open eyes, and its a free country. They can light their money on fire, or give it to a televangilist for all I care. Just get off my back as I point out the wealth of the high priest.

What is annoying is the use of their accusations as proof positive an organization or individual is racist. What is annoying is using allegations of racism against an individual or organization to smear a person who is only loosely associated with that individual (calling an individual a racist because La Raza decided to print his article). Most annoying of all, is the use of allegations of racism to end a fact based argument, with counter arguments like, "I'd take anything said by that organization with a grain of salt".

The stupidity of his argument goes something like:
"Nobody is race baiting, and free speech is guaranteed by the constitution, so ignore what those racists have to say!"

Its absurd. He is either trolling or has an IQ of 12. He is Breeze Wood, a with better command of the English language. Forgive me the indulgence of pointing it out. He's new around here.

    From the link above.

Another misconception about NCLR is the allegation that we support a “Reconquista,” or the right of Mexico to reclaim land in the southwestern United States. NCLR has not made and does not make any such claim; indeed, such a claim is so far outside of the mainstream of the Latino community that we find it incredible that our critics raise it as an issue. NCLR has never supported and does not endorse the notion of a “Reconquista” or “Aztlán.” Similarly, NCLR’s critics falsely claim that the statement “Por La Raza todo, Fuera de La Raza nada,” [“For the community everything, outside the community nothing”] is NCLR’s motto. NCLR unequivocally rejects this statement, which is not and has never been the motto of any Latino organization.

Are you really so gullible as to rely on the "official" statements put out by these guys? Why not have a look at what their people say publicly from the stages of their rallies:

That was an interesting article, thanks, and if you had posted it in the beginning instead of ranting against the NCLR or quoting from a site founded by racists you wouldn't look like such a klansman now. (You really told on yourself there. :p) However, I don't think your article helps you near as much as you would like.

Once again lets look at your original statemants:
There are several things wrong, or at least not entirely accurate about your statements.
    1. $4800 is around the max that a single parent with 3 children earning around 12k could hope to qualify for. There is a lot of variation in the amount each case qualifies for.

    2. It is not fully refundable if haven't paid any taxes yet, you can merely qualify for it. Here's from your article.
In other words, when the EITC exceeds the amount of taxes owed, it results in a tax refund to those who claim and qualify for the credit. And while in all fairness, there is probally some verbal hair splitting here on both our parts ;), earned income is still considered taxable income. And any taxes owed (as in is 'even if you didn't pay a dime in taxes') is deducted from any tax credits you qualify for. Thats why the EITC is called a refundable tax credit. Any amount left over after deducting any tax liablity is paid out (in other words 'refunded') to the recipient.

    3. When you said
, did you mean immigrants or illegal immigrants? If they're merely immigrants then whats the problem?
If you meant illegal immigrants then your source articile would seem to suggest that, while there are exceptions - i.e. identity theft, EITC isn't really a problem, since you need a valid SSN. ACTC seems to be the bigger issue.
Now to your videos. Don't confuse the phrase 'La Raza' with the NCLR. The NCLR is comparable to the NAACP and in it's most basic form, a latino person using the phrase 'la raza' is similar to a black person using the phrase 'African American'. So when the guy in the video was saying for white america to be scared of la raza, he meant the hispanic population and not the NCLR, and he was wrong for doing so. I have no problem standing up and taking offense with that loser. His message was no better than the 'Keep America White' people. What can I say? There a racists everywhere. The difference between you and I is I don't go around quoting them. ;)

    And to answer you here,
Not at all, but if you're going to cite goverment statistics as your evidence, asking for a goverment source is not an unreasonable request. As I've always maintained. I've never said you're wrong, I just want to see for myself.

Which brings me back to my original request, again, to see some evidence of this statement by Bogart,
    And finally,
Nasa.gov. Why, would you have preferred Stormfront?

@Tray: Where did you go man? Your mom take away your computer for a while? I appreciate your long winded admission of the facts, despite your feeble attempts to play them down. Now that you have the government's own admission they are channeling billions of dollars into the hands of illegals, and California governments own admission they want to fund another 40 million into college education of illegals, and La Raza's own admission of race baiting and racial hatred, perhaps you can join me and the rest of the sane people in the nation in protesting this government sponsored insanity. If you can't protest out of common sense, perhaps you can protest out of the hatred you already confessed you have for the president(racially motivated??) ;).

A quick thank you for the disambiguation between La Raza ("The [Latino] Race") and National Council of La Raza("The [Latino] Race"). If I ever decide to start up an organization to address the shared issues of people with European descent, I'll be sure to name it something equally non-Racist like National Council of White Supremacists, or maybe the National Socialist American Workers Party, or hell, how about the National Council of the Nazis! Seriously though, your humor was not lost on me.

P.S. I know you aren't going to understand the irony in the above paragraph so I wait with baited breath for you to call me a racist(again) based on your lack of understanding. Please, don't be niggardly with your criticisms.

You know mate, I'm not a white. I'm not even an American.. But from where I stand, it looks like that you are indeed blatantly race baiting.. I'm curious Tray, what's your ethnicity?

You are labeling everyone racist, but do a very little to cover the fact that you are pretty much a racist yourself.
Also, if anyone splitting the hair here, it is you and just you.

Look, here is the problem - When people from my neighboring country come to my country illegally, I'm pissed too. I don't have any problem with them as long as they stay in their own country, or at least immigrate through legal channels. It has nothing to do with the race. When I speak against it, people like you call me Islamophobic. And that's fucked up, because it has nothing to do with their religion or race.. It's a genuine problem.

The point O'nation made was pretty clear, A vast amount of American tax money is being paid to illegal immigrants as tax benefits. He backed it up with numerous sources. Now, you did not counter his point, but simply discredited his primary source by labeling it racist, your own source to back up your claim, a site that can be labeled as racist itself.

And as I read it, your attempts are pretty laughable to say the least.

You know, it's pretty nice around here. A Lot of good people that can be generalized in three categories

    1) People who love to argue, have different opinions about stuffs but they know how to counter argue without resorting to some cheap blows. (Most of the people around)

    2) People who love to argue, but they are totally clueless. (Some people around)

    3) And then you, laxman, and Apoc.. (just three of you)

You three are like exchange students on a trip from School for special children.

I mean It gotta take a really really dense person to not be able to tell the difference between two entirely different people.
Specially when I politely stated twice that I have no idea whoever helvetti was.
