let me guess, you have the latest CBS/CNN/NYTIMES poll to back that up?? I hope you realize that polls are not even looked at seriously, because they are all biased, no matter what outfit does them. They also primarily do pocket surveys, meaning they only ask about 1000 (usually an odd number though like 1027) people...and usually those are in one specific area of the country, like New York, or LA, or San Fran....

your theory is already debunked unless you have actual proof other than a poll...

The people did not vote for the war, they voted for new congress men or women...for the republicans that lost, its because they were too lax and let the govt get too big...besides, if the majority of americans don't want the war, then why are their representatives still voting to fund it? Why are they not mad at their current reps??

A: because they didn't vote in disagreement to the war...

Theory debunked again, keep trying though...:D

you have no connection with reality
lets see if you can answer this multiple choice question
    a-the war was not necessary
b-the war was necessary but many unnecessary mistakes were made in its execution under rumsfeld
c-war was a good idea and we have made no mistakes and we should bring rumsfeld back since he is so gooood

edit i will post the answer key shortly

way to change the subject away from yourself and put it on me...I don't think so...face it, your theory of a poll or a multiple choice answer is again debunked...I'm not going to waste my time constantly proving you wrong(although I do enjoy it, it makes me smile:D)

THIS IS YOUR STUPID TREAD. read the title.
it is not about you and me or polls. but when you can not follow the conversation you get personal
you just prove your lack of ability to form coherent thought

If you don't like it, don't read it...you were the one who started the argument about most american's agreeing on the war being wrong...I was just proving you wrong, as I usually do. I love it when I can tick off a liberal...as I have you, since you were yelling at me. I will sleep better tonite knowing that you are so mad!!:D

Thanks again for proving my point...
In your post you said this:
This was in reference to the war being wrong, and the word "waste" being an unfortunate choice...which again, is your words...

My quote followed calling your quote into question:
    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showpost.php?p=2459095&postcount=124

I don't think that the majority of americans think the war is pointless or that the word "waste" is a good word...our troops lives have not been "wasted" on a war that is not worth it...however, you seem to think that the majority of americans think so...again this is what I called into question.

the rest of your posts are you trying to backpedal you way out (like a good dem) and turn the argument on me...you are just like obama...you think that the war is wrong that our troops lives have been a "waste"....I will call you on this everytime, because their lives are not a "waste" and this is not a "stupid or unnecessary war" and that "the majority of americans" do not agree with you on this....

sorry jack, but I'm not letting you weasel your way out...your facts were wrong, just admit it....you don't have any proof about the original question and you have tried to work your way out using the following 6 posts...

i think pat Buchanan meant that use of waste was unfortunate
i think that most people agree with one or the other arguments
edit rumsfeld is gone i guess someone in the administration agrees with me

The lost lives in Iraq have been wasted. The war was a mistake.

The facts speak for themsleves. You can target your angst at Obama for stating the facts or you can target your angst at the people who actually wasted the lives.

Is the world a safer place for the US occupation of Iraq? No

Is America a better place for all the 3,100+ troops killed and countless thousands injured? No

Is the Bush cabal making millions out of the war and going to make millions in the future from this illegal "war?" Yes

The "war on terror" mantra is wearing very thin and the people in power are being exposed for the lying corrupt bastards that they are.

It's only a matter of time before people realise that too.
