I heard from some people that Obama will stop outsourcing from other countries, that is a part of his campaign if he won as a president. is it true? imagine the impact of that campaign.

You mean as in outsourcing projects like controlling sea and shipping ports to foreign companies,?

I have always thought that , that was a severe national security risk, and I can't believe that the Bush administration allowed it.

That would increase costs even more for many, in case it's the "normal" outsourcing. The one Hmansfield stated is okay though.

IF outsourcing stops, and all jobs come back to the US, then either you'll have to work 12 hours a day for 500$ a month, as Indians do, or the costs to companies would rise so dramatically, that there could be hyper-inflation...

Obama should stay away from the free markets. Corporations have the right to choose the most optimum sources for getting work done. Thats what keeps the stock markets high. Thats what funds your pension plan and retirement funds.

If Obama wins, America is going to shitter. One way or another. Whether he cancels this or that - it's still going to shitter if that moron wins. There will be no change.

But then again, if you observe Obama supporters closely, you can't help but come to conclusion, that they really deserve a moron for president. Cause then the circle is complete - dumb leading the dumb. I'm actually hoping Obama wins. That will give me four years to laugh my ass off as those who voted for him bang their heads against the wall asking themselves what they were thinking when they gave this moron their vote. I'll just stand there and laugh my damn ass off :D

Obama can't force anyone to stop outsourcing. That's sort of the whole point of the free market economy we have here in the US. Companies are free to choose how they do business and stay competitive with the rest of the world. Obama doesn't have the power to stop it. He can create incentives to discourage it, but he can never outright stop it unless we sever all marketing ties with every other country in the world. That just doesn't seem likely to happen.

    THANK YOU

You can't stop a free economy.

    Business is harsh.

    Adapt or perish.

    It's always been this way.

Outsourcing is a win win situation which permits USA to grow leveraging on the relatively cheaper but skilled labor of countries such as India and China. I can't imagine Internet today without the tens of thousands of talented Indian programmers working under the likes of Microsoft, Adobe and the rest. We are a global nation, stopping outsourcing and looking inward will be what China did during the Ming Dynasty, which caused the downfall and humiliation of the mightiest nation then

In the past [And still] people migrated to countries where the jobs were. With outsourcing the jobs go to the people instead of it being the other way.
