Obama spanks med companies

As most of you already know a memo was sent down from the white house to the FBI, that they were not under any circumstances to make arrests in the 14 states where medical marijuana laws are in effect, where the person/s is within the guild-lines set by their states.

It is amazing to me this happens in the middle of the pushing of a failing health care bill. Drug companies (along with tobacco and alcohol) have long lobbied to keep marijuana illegal, so they can make more money for themselves, fearing that people would have less need, or turn to marijuana instead. In turn they would have less profit. This has been going on since the 1920's.

I think that this is probably the only good move this administration has made to date. With that said, I have to question it.

The drug companies, along with many doctors and medical companies, not mentioning the insurance companies are very much opposed to the proposed health care bill.

Is Obama using Marijuana as leverage to get his own agenda passed? And if so, will there be a deal struck behind closed doors to resume the arresting of innocent marijuana patients, while the drug companies cower, bow down and make a deal to get this health care bill, that nobody wants passed?

    Something to think about!

    !

Marijuana is safer to take than codeine and any opiates but is illegal because of the cotton industry. Go figure.

Du Pont - The reason we don't have biodegradable hempen plastic.

Yeah, biodegradable, as in plastics don't have to rape the environment and technology can be environmentally sustainable without making compromises to efficiency or power.

Wanna know why cannabis doesn't need to be legalized? I've smoked a few tobacco cigarettes in my day (never bought a pack for myself)...I get a CRAZY high from just one...And have tried convincing my mother that it is no different than the high from cannabis except that it is entirely only a body high without the mental expansion.

Marinol has already been approved of for patients with cancer/aids in order to mellow their pain and nausea while upping their appetites so they can eat to feed their bodies to continue the fight against these diseases.

Obama basically gave the states a wake up call known as the 10th Amendment, now I'm hoping the states will take it one farther and reassert themselves as the UNITED STATES of America, not the American Imperial Federation. Want a Republic to work?: Make it HUGE and therefore all encompassing. Want a Republic to fail?: Mesh the compartments of it into one gigantic unit.

    Not rocket science.
