Never heard about, but don't be too worried. If you only read half of it, it may seem like an attempt to nationalize elections or create an agency to control voting in state and local areas. But that is far from the truth. This is nothing but a commission established to review the voting process and submit recommendations. It has no legal power to create new voting laws. Also, these two lines are the most important: (b) The Commission shall be advisory in nature and shall submit a final report to the President within 6 months of the date of the Commission's first public meeting. Sec. 5. Termination. The Commission shall terminate 30 days after it presents its final report to the President. What those two lines tell us is that this is a temporary commission that will only exist for a maximum of 7 months. Also within the executive order are lines that state the commission members do not get paid for being on the commission, but their travel and other expenses will be paid for.
