Feel free to use your superior intelligence. You are superior of course because English is your first and only language and anyone born in another country such as, let's say, Vanuatu, who learn their village dialect as a child as their first language, then either French or English depending on what school they go to, then either English or French depending on what their second language is and then pidgin English as their 4th language. But, never mind, you are superior.

I don't know. Imagine you were a 600lb fat guy who nearly can't get out of bed. You have a choice of hiring one of two nurses, one which promises to spoon feed you "low fat" Hagan Daas, the other which promises to put you on an actual diet.

It seems there are still quite a few Americans who would take the guy promising to spoon feed them Hagan Daas.

And if you believe that, I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you. The obvious answer is, demand in Tech jobs remains high, but we are still flooding the market with enough H1B visas to cause wage stagnation. The guy is probably not willing to take the 25-50% cut in pay he needs to in order to gain immediate employment. Wages in tech are at the same level they were in 1994, WITHOUT adjusting for inflation.

 

But wouldn't that be an awesome follow up if Obama actually got him a job? Everyone would be sending their resume to the White House...
