Well, as only myself and sweetsara were taking issue with Bogart, and you wrote,

, as in, plural, I wanted to clarify if you were including me as a "race card player." I am not.

No, of course, I don't think he is part of the KKK, and I have already said it was wrong to post this. All I do have is what he posts on the forum, as with any of us.

I do wonder why he condemns an entire people as unworthy of being the President, simply because of their Muslim faith, and I wonder why he has waged the propaganda campaign he has waged on Obama - I mean, my god, man - you are aware there are dozens of pages worth of utterly debunked smears, drawn from crap websites proven to be themselves baseless propaganda, correct?

I haven't seen his previous posts about Obama but i'll take your word for it. My point is this: There are many reasons Bogart or anyone would attack Obama, and to say that it is ultimately "racism" is ultimately foolish.

Maybe he wants to fill the gaps that the media isn't filling?

As far as the muslim thing, if that's what you have on Bogart then put that in the post instead of saying it's RACISM!

Can't you see that any chance of patching up the racism in America and becoming colorblind is COMPLETELY ruined when you play that race card every day and create victims out of blacks?

    PS.

I chose plural because I know there are other race players in these forums I've dealt with before, so it didn't apply directly to this thread.

It applies anytime you victimize blacks or any other race and blame something on racism.

You'd have to take a look, then, Nate. Maybe it was largely while you were gone, but, my god - fantastically ridiculous. If you need to be pointed in the relevant direction, please let me know. Hell, there is almost zero that your pal Guerilla and I agree on, but, in his words,

I covered the muslim thing. It isn't racism, of course, since Muslims aren't a race, but it is bigotry. There isn't any other way to construe it.

Judging from the civil war thread I made recently, bogart seemed the very anti-racist, anti-slavery Yankee we all adore!

Maybe you are right, I'll never know though because this road might just be leading into the pit of bottomless personal attacks that we've all stumbled upon before.

I've never said that I wouldn't vote for a muslim for US President. But I have reservations considering the war on terror and issues like could a christian be president of a muslim country? Even John McCain has expressed reservations.

Obama is another story. I'm still trying to figure out what he was doing for the last 20 years listening to Rev. Jeremiah Wright in the Trinity Church considering that he has recently denounced Rev Wright's remarks.

There are many charges of racism but no answer to the LA Times article concerning "Obama donor received a state grant"
