I'm definitely disgusted. But sadly, like you, not surprised. The hatred from the Anti-Obama folks is rabid.
The one doing it is doing it to a lot of people. The comments are vile, disgusting, often threatening and always end with the mis-spelling of the word "retard". The person doing it (to give you a hint) has a lot of rep, else it would not count in P/R. Either way, its not like it would ever knock my rep down as a whole. I've just been here way too long and helped out way too much to have my rep go in any direction other than north! I'm pretty sure everyone has left good and bad rep. The difference? Very few of us leave such abusive, repulsive and repugnant comments.
I just read it on yahoo, its so sad on obama's part to lose his granny at the moment of his triumph. It really hurts
Hmm....I'm feeling the compassion just wreaking all over. Interesting, also, that others apparently sniffed "motive" or "agenda" was a possible thrust, when we have: And Logic, I have to say - I'm surprised. Do you honestly feel this way, as well, that foul play may be afoot? I would have expected something like this from certain quarters, but not from you - at the risk of being insulting, I'm simply being honest, and am surprised. At any rate, Mia has averred for two years now, that Obama is literally an Islamic terrorist plant who will work to overthrow the United States on assuming office. I have a hard time swallowing this was all "simple curiosity" devoid of "motive or agenda." Nevertheless, Mia, only you can truly answer what you meant by your comment. If I have it wrong, I apologize to you. ***** For the record, not sure if Mia is trying to intimate I am the "rep guy" at issue with his "going north" tag to his rep whine, but this notion has been intimated among a couple of right-wing folks of late. I'll say it again: I don't leave rep, unlike certain members of this forum (and thread, to be honest), as a matter of course. I consider it childish, and gutless. You know, stuff like: At any rate, Anything I have to say, I say it above board. And I'm fairly certain I know how to spell "retard."
I don't really have a belief in regards to this. When it comes to presidential politics I'm given to skepticism and/or cynicism, especially when events seem to intervene coincidentally. I can't say I believe anything unless I have hard evidence. I can say that Obama has run the most well-crafted campaign I've ever seen and that he's been very opportunistic in his lead up to where he is(so has McCain) and that scares me. So when things like this happen it arouses my inner conspiracy nut.
Logic, it's so hard to convey things properly online. I know the body of your thoughts, I think, I don't see the whiff of the other issue I'm talking about, and I understand what you're saying. Sorry.
Right on cue Grandma Obama! All part of Obama's master plan. Shit, and McCain can't even get JTP to show up to rallies on-time!
Also, I've been listening to Alex Jones a lot lately. http://208.53.158.202/listen.pls I'm listening now as a matter of fact. Maybe it's rubbing off.
Yep, well, the use of rep "drive bys" by 1 or 2 members is a "tool" for them, believing it somehow means something really, really significant. You needn't look far. Anyway, when it comes to compassion, yes, I'm suspect. One member asks: and the reply: Hence, the suspicions I raise in this thread. It doesn't come from air. You know, I know he's a focal point on this forum - those who love him, those who hate him - I've never listened to him. What the hell...tonight's as good a night as any...
It's entertaining. That's a winamp stream, btw, so you need it installed. He'll probably be all over the grandma story tomorrow.
That's why I put him on ignore. I just simply cannot bring myself to read the diatribes, mistruths and personal assaults on others (always conveniently non-Obama supporters) any longer. Something changed, as many others have pointed out. Similarly, for the same reasons, I leave the room when my wife plugs in Steel Magnolias on a lazy Saturday afternoon. Too much drama. An interesting question to be sure. I also heard his campaign organizer in Nevada died today too. Some eerie coincidences, but life and death happen. It appears, in the absence of any death related sympathy, some are manufacturing it anyway. I would have had some sympathy for Obama if he hadn't flipped me off. Yes, he flipped the McCain campaign off, just like he did the Hillary campaign. Since I'm part of that campaign, as a supporter, he flipped me off as well. Obama has no class and deserves no sympathy from anyone offended by his unstatesman like conduct in flipping off those he doesn't agree with. I'm sure she was a wonderful person. I have no ill will towards her, but I resent the gesture Obama made to McCain supporters today and because of that undignified behavior, I'm unable to find within me enough respect for him to offer Obama any condolences after he flipped off half the country. Dude...what's up with that hideous avatar? LMAO! I thought it was all the far left wing that abandoned the democrats to rush over to vote for a Libertarian kook hiding in the Republican party? And when reality set in, most seemed to drift back to where they belong. Don't make me whip out my photo bucket album! Crazy_Rob knows...there is no defense to a photo bucket image (I still remember that, Rob!)
I always wonder why folks like this have a hard time standing on their own feet, without holding hands in their paltry attempts to malign? Is it really that difficult to simply stand for one's words, and deal with the fallout, without giving mutual hugs all the time? Apparently. In other news, LOL! Outstanding! Best yet!!!!!!! LMAO!!!!!!!! Oh my god....hahahah....let's visit that video. Obama says, graciously, He continues with the speech. And that's it. Fellas, that's not flipping someone off. That's a speaker's way to keep the hands busy, because as fun as public speaking can be, to do it in front of 50-100,000 can cause you to want to touch down to stuff you know - like your face, but you don't want to seem like your doing it. Not sure anyone but those who have spoken before large audiences can get it. Anyway, no, not flipping someone off. That is. So is this. And if it wasn't clear, let me pull in a bit closer, just to make sure. Yep, sure as hell was. That Prez done flipped us off. Hope that clarifies. Priceless. Oh, I hear Gtech. Man, after the guy wiped the corners of his mouth, it just so pissed me off, such that the basic humanly decent thing to do, to offer compassion to a guy for the loss of the woman who obviously meant the world to him, is just - well, that's just asking too much. Crazy!
I think he was being sarcastic guys. No one in their right mind would literally be offended so badly as to not want to offer a man condolences at the death of his guardian after watching this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XBMdWxcFXQg Could they?
