The Obama administration is failing to keep America safe and it is just a matter of time before Muslim Extremist Terrorists strike gain on US soil.

Pakistani Taliban Claim Responsibility New York City Car Bomb Attack:

Some of the recent Obama failures in the War on Terror include:

    (1) Fort Hood terroist attack by Army Doctor Nidal Malik Hasan leaving 13 dead. Hsan was in direct contact with al-Qaeda militant Anwar al-Awlaki an American hiding in Yemen.
    (2) Nigerian underwear bomber attempts to blow-up a flight over Detroit. The Father of Umar Farouk Abdul Mutallab, Nigerian terror suspect in Flight 253, reported his son to the US Embassy in Nigeria. Obama was once gain caught with his pants down.
    (3) Muslim terrorist attack on Little Rock Army-Navy recruiting station. Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad, opened fire at an Army-Navy recruiting station in Little Rock, Arkansas yesterday, killing one soldier and critically injuring another. The victims in Monday’s attack were identified as Private William Long, 23 was died at the scene, and Private Quinton Ezeagwula, 18 who was wounded while taking a break outside the U.S. Army recruiting station.
    (4) The Obama administration has ordered an end to use of the phrase "Global War on Terror," for 'Overseas Contingency Operation'
    (5) Obama signs executive order for Closure Of Guantanamo Detention Facilities

Title of that article is "NYPD: No evidence of a Taliban link to SUV bomb" not the one you mentioned. Some website's claim is more credible than NYPD's statement.:rolleyes:

The NYPD did a great job as first responders detecting the attack and defusing the bomb. The issue here is that this isn't a law enforcement matter and homeland security should be on the ground working with US Intelligence to make the determination. Just add this to the list of Obama failures.

New York Gov. David Paterson is calling the car bomb an act of terrorism.

Homeland Secretary Janet Napolitano says "the system worked"

    (1) 9/11
    (2) War on Iraq
    (3) War on Afghanistan

Who has let more Americans be killed? Bush or Obama?

That is interesting because Pakistani intelligence last week rescinded their claim Mehsud had been killed and that he is still alive - oh, but not in control of operations. What proof was offered the Taliban was responsible for the attack?

Lets not forget: (4) the Great Recession of 09 - including the socializing of national banking and auto industry bailouts.

Get real - One SUV in New York City that failed to detonate is a national calamity.....there are plenty other building blocks for Republicans than this one.

NYPD is investigating the possibility that the terrorist attack was in retaliation against Comedy Central because it aired a "South Park" episode showing theProphet Muhammed hidden inside a bear suit. The car bomb was on W. 45th St., right next to the 1515 Broadway headquarters of Viacom, which owns Comedy Central.

That's funny blaming George Bush for subprime when Rahm Emanuel and Barney Frank were running Freddie Mac/Fannie Mae.

There is no excuse for Muslim intolerance and if the above is true they should be treated accordingly.

BREAKING NEWS: The Washington Post reports,

Foreign links increasingly likely in N.Y. bomb attempt. Failed car bomb in Times Square increasingly appears to have been coordinated by several people in a plot with international ties, Obama administration officials said Tuesday. White House officials also characterize the incident as attempted terrorism for the first time, dramatically stepping up their description of the intended attack.

Eh, from what I'm seeing, there are multiple groups that are very desperate to take responsibility for this Wiley-Coyote attempt.

Me, I'd prefer to believe that this was a lone idiot. Why? There was absolutely nothing "exotic" about the attempt. It used gasoline and alarm clocks. It also used about 100 lbs of a fertilizer that was incapable of exploding.

A civilian reported the car because he got suspicious when it was parked in a no-standing zone (which would have gotten police's attention anyway) and still had it's keys in the ignition - actually, it was a ring of keys so you can bet they are going to track down where those keys belong.

Whoever did this did everything except paint "Suspicious Vehicle" on the side in big red neon colors!

I prefer to think that this was done by a lone crank wacko. I prefer not to give any desperately desired publicity to any pathetic extremist group.

don't worry your country is still safe!

yeah I saw in the news that authorities aren't sure still, who was behind it.

when his trial will start? I guess he is OK now!
several times I heard from Bush which called Islam religion of peace!

Faisal Shahzad -- a Pakistani man believed to be the driver of an SUV used as a car bomb in a failed terror attack on Times Square was arrested at John F. Kennedy International Airport at about 11:45 p.m. Monday before boarding an Emirates airlines flight to Dubai.

Faisal Shahzad had just spent five month in Pakistain and had just recently returned.

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs response when asked by Fox News how the White House would categorize the New York Car Bombing Attack.

Something has changed. Did we have anything like Matalab or this idiot in the entire second Bush term? Rightly or wrongly, people tend to assign blame to the guy in power. If Bush gets 9-11, Katrina, and the financial crisis, Obama gets a dramatic upswing in foreign attacks on American soil, a tripling of the deficit, and what will prove to be the largest environmental disaster this country has ever seen. Funnier still, when we pull out of Afghanistan leaving it a mess, Obama is going to own that as well.

Blaming Obama for this one incident is ridiculous. This type of thing could have happened at any time.
