Biden is in Ohio today. According to the polls in Ohio that have taken place since January of this year, Obama has gone from a 62% approval to a 49% approval... With Ohio being the most important state in any modern presidential race, I'd say that says something about the direction we've been taking.

Any reason for the Oct time line? I have friends talking about a Nov crash but I haven't been following up on their reasonings. There are a lot of talks and also feelers being sent out with regards to the 2nd stimulus. That would be a catastrophe. I can't see them paying back the first stimulus, not to mention a 2nd!

Well, we haven't even spent the first stimulus, so why would we need a second? We have spent about $60 billion of the first, and we wonder why it's not working. Gee, we haven't spent the first, it's not working, so let's put out a second so we can NOT spend that one too.

I get myself spinning and dizzy trying to keep up with our government's logic.

It really says something about the state of our union when the most loved politician of our times ends up having a lower approval rating when he becomes president and even LOWER than GWB! Go figure.

To change the topic to something a bit more important: Listen to this interview.

It's time for real health care reform (public option.)

Right wingers have been destroying health care reform for many years. It has nothing to do with what will actually be good for the American people. It's all about more profits for the health insurance companies.

We need healthcare reform. Right now it costs too much. That is because there is no competition. In each state, 2 or 3 companies dominate the market. However, you are not allowed to buy health insurance from a company in a different state. So what you do is take away the restrictions on buying health insurance out of state, then you have a lot more options to chose from, and you can buy lower cost insurance and other companies will have to lower their prices to compete.

You want to buy insurance from a company in another state? OK. I'll support that. Why should that cost 1.6 TRILLION dollars?

It doesn't cost $1.6 trillion. Buying healthcare from another state would decrease government control, would cost nothing, and would lower prices. What the Democrats want to do will increase government control, raise prices, and result in worse healthcare. The plan I propose is in fundamental conflict with the regulations that the Democrats support that make it illegal to buy healthcare out of state and thus raise prices.

The Democrats have the ball and they are running with it. Obama's popularity is failing because of his mismanagement of our economy. There is no growth. Businesses are playing "wait and see". Every single proposal that comes out of this administration includes higher taxes.

He can't blame this on Bush any more. He claimed that he was up to the job when he took office. He is failing miserably.

Every Healthcare proposal includes some new tax on business.

California says "no" to higher taxes. They will have to scale back services and cut programs. America, as a nation, could benefit from this ideology INSTEAD of raising taxes. Obama keeps promising MORE services and MORE taxes.

A majority of middle class workers now believe that Obama will raise their taxes.

18 MILLION illegals have found jobs in the US. Get rid of the illegals and we will have 18 MILLION more jobs for our CITIZENS.

Obama loses again with his support of immigration reform.

Obama FAILS of sooo many fronts and people are finally looking past his polished stories and broken promises to see the real Obama.

Cap and Trade? Tax big business? Big Business won't care. They will pass that tax directly to us. Obama will still try to claim that he did not raise our taxes.

Democrats are failing on healthcare. They don't want to approve any means of paying for it because they know the public doesn't want to get taxed more. Just look at how Max Baucus keeps trotting out proposals to tax healthcare benefits and soda and capital gains and pharma companies and all the other Democrats keep whispering to the press, We aren't gonna tax healthcare. The day they finally come forward with their plan for paying for it is the day it dies.

Nothing wrong with immigrants having jobs and helping America. If white people want to get jobs, they just have to work harder than immigrants. The best person should get jobs. A lot of the jobs that illegal immigrants take are low paying and either are easy for someone to get if they want to but Americans don't always want to move to California and do manual labor.

Tim Horton's used to have it's base of operations in Delaware and pay taxes in America, but now that Obama has signaled raising taxes, they moved to Canada. How much money are you getting from that tax increase, Obama?
