Believe me, I am the last one to come to Hillary's aide, but sadly, the claims being made are quite true.. Obama is not what he seems.. Don't be fooled.

Jeremy, we've been on this for 13 pages, and every smear has been debunked, utterly, absolutely. Did you have a single piece of evidence to support your claim? You put in quite a few cents, but Bogart has made quite the attempt, since you left the thread, across the board - nothing. If you've got anything - all ears.

Looks like more Muslim support coming from Obama's buddy, Farrakhan, the head of the Nation of Islam. When called on this by Clinton, Obama refused to reject the support of his anti-Semitic buddy who calls Judaism a "gutter religion."

Comes as no surprise to me..

Damn, Jeremy, never knew you to resort to this kind of crap before....as you know, the audience actually laughed over Clinton's quibbling over the difference between "denounce" and "reject." Then, he made her day, saying "'kay, I denounce and reject."

You also know this has been previously covered in this thread:

Your personal hatred, for reasons unknown to me, are bleeding through, buddy. In the name of self respect, I'd urge you to stop the lying and gutter smear.

Your efforts are laudable, northpoint. Like a heroic knight, you have valiantly defended obama against all the allegations in this thread.

You do know that obama won't be writing you a big paycheck for this, right ?
Probably he won't even notice you, as he passes you by. :p

With all due respect, it is not hatred.. I just happen to know something about him others do not. I'll have to leave it at that.

Jeremy, with all due respect (I mean that sincerely - I've enjoyed our exchanges in the past, and regret it has come to this here), you "know something," yet can't post a single fact supporting your defamations, and, worse, you are posting things you know to be utterly untrue.

You mentioned the debate last night, claiming that Obama refused to reject Farrakhan and his views. As you know, what you said isn't true.

Last night, Clinton had a snit over the word "reject" v. "denounce," and Obama gained the upper hand - the audience laughing roundly - by saying that if it is the word "reject" that got her in a lather, fine, he denounces and rejects Farrakhan and his views. Yet you, and I am truly sorry to say this, you lied, saying that in last night's debate he didn't reject the support of Farrakhan. Apparently, the head of the Anti-Defamation League accepts the of Senator Obama's beliefs, but you will not - and will not speak truthfully in the process.

From this thread, you also know Obama has on his team Daniel Shapiro as his advisor on Middle East affairs,

I would find it difficult to conceive of Mr. Shapiro working for an Al-Qaeda plant.

A thread based on a tissue of lies, with zero facts to support the smear. Jeremy, I find that unconscionable. I can respect any position, no matter how far removed from my own, but I cannot respect propaganda. I think you're better than that and again, with respect, I urge you to cease this kind of nonsense.

Enquiring minds want to know! Do you have proof? Are you concerned about retaliation? Get a fake ip or proxy and publish it somewhere anonymously. If you really do know something, now is the time before he gets elected. It is your patriotic duty, do it for America before it's too late...;)

Edit: Oh, I just realized if you tell, and people listen, we will probably just get Hillary in.
As Guru-Seo would say, "We are doomed!"

Obama has Nation of Islam staffers and Nation of Islam interns (MUSLIM MYSTERY)

Barack Obama "says he can't step up and produce his own records from his days in the Illinois state Senate. Obama has the voting record of a 'shady Chicago socialist' (HARD LEFT POLITICIAN)

While still an Illinois state legislator, Obama delivered the keynote address at the 2004 Democratic National Convention (OBAMA CAN OUT OF NOWHERE)

Well, 'kay, in the absence of actual, you know, facts, or blindly ignoring the wanton incongruity of an Al-Qaeda plant receiving the support of the head of the Anti-Defamation league, or tossing every piece of ridiculous crap known to man (how's them pic hunts going, Bogart - any showing the man with green skin, and antennae?) how about another little incongruity:

NOI and socialism are inimical to one another. Farrakhan is a black nationalist, and socialism is a universalist movement, antithetical to such notions as Farrakhan's:

    http://www.socialism.com/fsarticles/vol18no1/convention.html

And the feeling's mutual. I've seen it elsewhere, but if I remember correctly, Farrakhan loathes socialism. A quick search yielded:

    http://www.finalcall.com/artman/publish/article_4215.shtml

So, in one man, it seems you, Mia, Guerilla, perhaps others, house many mutually inimical social ills. Be quite an achievement, really, for a human being to hold such an impossibly constructed character and personality - whether Guerilla's "he's CFR" and "he's not CFR," or your Al-Qaeda/commie/traitor/anti-semite, quite an achievement indeed.

Of course, those pesky things, facts, get in the way, as they always have, throughout this charade.

I long ago said it: Obama's rise can be traced to an America absolutely flagged by an era of bitter divisiveness. It is obvious Bogart, and those who cannot conceive of this man becoming President, that you will not accept the world as it is, the truth of his candidacy (and, at least based on current polls, likely Presidency). I restate it must be hell to live in a land where such an event is about to take place.

I don't doubt that Obama is a socialist. That's what scares me.

That he is black, or could be Muslim or whatever is a small detail IMO. America is facing an economic crisis that is going to be exacerbated by the entitlement meltdown coming. We can't afford (literally or figuratively) to get deeper into the hole by adding new departments, public works and continue to spend like drunken sailors.

From what I understand so far is that Northpoint likes socialism. So I am assuming that is why he wants Obama.

Is that correct North or did I read you wrong?

Yeah, well, you do seem to have some confused views in this vein, Guerilla:

I'm waiting for a John Birch Society supporter to keep his story straight, personally.

Nope, no commie boogieman. Nor Al-Qaeda plant, nor traitor, nor anti-semite, nor space alien. Just the guy the American people have, so far, expressed they want in the White House.

Uh, yep, you read me wrong, but I think you probably know that, debunked. This is a tired argument, now, that has been raised many times, by myself, Iul, Stox, for a few - but we live in society. Guerilla's view is that any funding paradigm outside of his much vaunted (but poorly defended) "user fees" is "socialism." I'll reprint my view:

Allow me to toss an easy one out: Guerilla's self-edifying mantra, "Defending Liberty," for instance.

That there standing military - you know, that thing I actually served in, as a young man - user's fees? Pay my $10 monthly membership fee to the boys and girls in green, blue, black and white to stand guard on my block? Noooooooooo? Taxes? But I may or may not support American policy. What I don't support, dammit, I don't pay for. Now, I'm really mad. So I'm seceding, to a cave, alone, where I do not have to enter into the social contract that is called society.

Now, if you finally come back to the real world, and admit there are some things we do exert in common in this construct called "society," and you have an issue with differences in degree, you manage; you work towards a more workable solution:

Although it's easier just to toss up the buzzwords: Al-Qaeda/commie/traitor/anti-semite/space alien.
