Don't forget the wonderful Barney Frank. I guess we are double screwed with our blind Governor who will just follow whatever these fools say.
Before the financial crisis Barney Frank, Chairman of the House Finance Services Committee Chairman, said that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were, “fundamentally sound.†Here’s the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VgctSIL8Lhs President Bush tied to pass new regulations on Fannie and Freddie in 2005, but the Democrats, stonewalled the reforms.
What this economy needs is more Bush. Can I get an amen from all the people who voted for him twice but are now trying to act like they have all the answers? I never can seem to find you guys when I ask
How can you really judge how his performance is when he hasn't really done anything? None of the stuff he's signed has actually taken place yet, so the outcome isn't here. Sheeple...sheesh. Sheep people = sheeple, and the majority of the world are sheep, flocking to the person with the biggest mouth...erm promises, and the most money. None of this is about Obama, McCain, Bush or any other single person, it deals primarily with the government as a whole. If anyone should be blamed for our situations, it should be the congress, which is full of corrupt careerists who have lost touch with their people, and with reality, and only want to stay in power and stay rich. McCain and Obama were both horrible candidates as they both would have (Obama will) punish those who are successful with extremely high tax rates, redistribute wealth (which is wrong), socialize the nation, and among other things lose many of our allies. Taxation is a method to control the people, and our government is using it to enslave us. Why else would they give our tax dollars to multibillion corporations who own us through mortgages? Besides the fact that congress gets kickbacks from all of these companies as a result of the money (and not to mention the fact that companies like citi are spending it on $50 million jets with leather seats and amenities), it's just wrong to not give the money back to the people directly instead of raping us with our own funds. All politicians suck, they should be kicked out, and congressional term limits should be instated. Power to the people. REAL people who have actually worked for a living (not freaking office work, those pansies) but farmers, doctors, and blue collar members of the majority should be in there representing their people from their point of view. Since when has a freaking trial lawyer done anything for the general good, unless it means profit or other good things for him? Look around, our government is self serving, no more "We the people," with the people giving the power. It is now "We the government own you, and you will pay us and do what we say with our unconstitutional laws, corruption, greed, and general anti-freedom attitude (except for freedom for ourselves of course)." Seriously, people. Wake up and smell the national if not global conspiracy that is taking place, a conspiracy that will give oligarchies power over the people they originally came to power by. Note: the poor people who voted for Obama (not poor as in unfortunate, but short of money) really think he's going to buy them stuff with government funds. To a certain part, that's true, but why should I have to pay that? If I give money at my church for such a thing, that's ok, but being forced to do so is yet again wrong.
The Reagan Revolution was in response to Jimmy Carter and a 18% inflation rate. Jimmy Carter had a popularity of 66 percent when he took office in 1976. Carter said the problem was due to "our failure in Government, as individuals and as a society to live within our means." http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,921854,00.html
