    Bush brought us wealth

The nation is holding a record trade deficit, record budget deficits, a deteriorating currency with the Federal Reserve having to raise interest rates so the dollar does not go into a free fall to avoid a banking crisis and you are saying that Bush policy has brought us wealth when we can't afford to fund a war that we went into generations of debt to fight

    Never said I did.

The Constitution is not in question. One can claim to support the Constitution on one hand, but be in favor of an entity selling out their country on the other. I'm not sure how one reconciles that, but apparently it's possible.

This was not a checks and balances issue. This was a matter of the NYT disclosing details of a secret, legal program used to fight the enemies of the US. Some people think that's patriotic. It would be wrong to do under any administration, Republican or Democratic. It's sad that Bush Derangement Syndrome overpowers common sense. Blind hatred will push otherwise good men and women to say and support just about anything.

You are the one that keeps bringing up the political parties int this. I would support the right for free speech at any day. Eitherway, this news has been public domain for a while, and the NYT's was NOT the only place to publish it.

The fund tracking program is not illegal.
The public repoting of the program is not illegal.

So what is the issue? How is this supporting terrorism?

It wasn't just a passing reference that a secret classified program existed, it was an exposure of how it works and the details of the program. It sounds like you are trying to say you want our enemies to have access to every detail of how we plan to fight them. Is that a fair assessment?

    It isn't the first time:

All in the name of "checks and balances."

Funny how the source is questioned, but not the message. Kind of explains a lot ;)

Lots of sources on the story Rob, but the content doesn't much matter, does it?

No GTech, it really does not matter, as long as thefts continue on oil, war profiteering and rebuilding New Orleans, Halliburton is cashing in and will buy their way out of jail!

You might want to check your content generator. That one came out a little more garbled than usual? Must be one of those pesky if/then/else statements acting up again :p
