Numerous pages de indexed how to get reindexed

    Hi, the sitemap plugin on my joomla site crashed hence a large number of pages which were ranking well are no more in google's index how do I get them indexed please guide me :( I built a new sitemap and have submitted it on google but it doesnt seem to be indexing the old pages

    Give them backlinks and content updates if possible..

    If possible submit your site to major search engines manually..

    Also try to change Meta or Content on your site. As google quickly crawl those sites which updated.

    The pages have completely vanished :( yes i am trying to update some pages but when you have 1000's of pages changing every page is hard

    Hi,

    Perform seo off page activities(like. social bookmarking, directory submission, forum, article, blog posting etc.).
    You page will get back after some time it's my personal experience.
