I don't think that having numbers in domain name have any problem with SEO. Several of the top players in my niche have a number, or numbers, in their domain name. For years they've maintained excellent placement for some very choice keywords. If there's any downside to having a number in a domain name, it would appear to have missed them completely.

No there is no problem that I know of with numbers - but I would prefer the name first followed by the numbers.

That isn't a problem with a domain name that is also keyword enriched.

i think there is no problem to choose an number in domain name, i don't see a reason to say numbers in domain names are bad for SEO so no issue...

I have no doubt about the problem toward seo by having number in domain name. However, the number make your domain look suspicious to regular visitors, thus hard to do branding in the future either. You have to trade one thing between seo and branding / image.

If you are relying on search traffic what difference would it make if you have a number in the domain?
