Imagine you have unlimited content to create everyday and the following payment options (I made up the $ and number of posts to serve as an example):

    $5 per 150 words
    $7 per 250 words
    $10 per 500 words

To get the most $ out of the time you spent working, what kind of articles would you do the most?

    Plenty of short articles?
Just a couple of long articles?
Or somewhere in the middle of the 2?

bah..wanted to add a poll and change the title of the post but I can't :(

Cover the topics. It's that simple.

Don't try to cover broad topics in small articles and vise versa.

The content is related to tech products that are released on a daily basis, it's not abut covering different topics in the same article.

But thanks for the post anyway, it does make sense in some situations.

I wouldn't work on that price scale and expect to make money. Professional writers charge considerably more for their work.

But in order to answer your question generally, to work to your maximum production limit it's important to cover the topics given to you thoroughly, in regards to the audience you are writing for. It's that simple. I have to agree with marketjunction on his point, as well.

Take as much space as you need to cover the main points of the article, but don't try to cram all sorts of information into a small article. Conversely, you don't want to ramble on about irrelevant information, either.

Heh, I understand it was an example. The example wasn't relevant to a professional market though, so I just wanted to point that out. No offense meant :)

No offense taken, I couldn't describe the exact situation on the first post so that is why there is some confusion.
