It depends on the type of your website as: If your site is informational site then any number of visitor are less, but if you have a commercial website then it depends on how many customers you have, irrespective of the number of visitors.
Impossible question to answer. What's your niche, how broad is it and are you beating your competition? You'll only uncover your niches full potential once you become the authority - until you reach that point, there is still work to be done to maximise your rewards.
I want my website to have atleast 5000 UV per day before moving to another one... halfway reached till now
There is no formula as such for measuring traffic success. It all depends on one's own expectation and actual realisation.
It's not so much the number of visitors, but the number of visitors that convert so you might have 3000 unique visitors and only a few click through and buy your products and service, or you might have 300 unique per month and more of them click through and buy your products and services
I think monthly 3000 unique visitors is not enough. There are lots of site that have more than 30,000 monthly visitors. So, keep building.
you should look to get at least 400 to 500 hundred visitors a day. if you are sending traffic to your squeeze page then look to get 30 plus optins per day.
Dear buddy.. It basically depends on what share of your market search queiries or hits comes on to your website. If you have like more than 1000 to 4000 UV almost in every niche its considered a decent traffic per day.. cheers Josh
I think you should be thinking more in terms of conversion than number of visitors: quality versus quantity.
What question is it??? It totally depends on the keywords and the searches. How one can tell the number of visitors for a website is fair enough with out knowing the details of the site
this kind of question generates a lot of noise. If you have done your keyword research, and looked at the max exact matches per month, then multiply it up for long tail keywords (assuming you have lots of content on your site). then you will know what to aim for. Google webmaster tools will actually show how many impressions you are getting for what rank position, so you will know how your title and description are performing. then of course you want to know how many of those are converting to your goal - google analytics. its never just about random visitors, but its good to know what your max target is
It's not so much the number of visitors, but the number of visitors that perform the action you are looking for, for example you may get 3,000 visitors but only about 10 might do the action you are looking for (like buy something) or 300 visitors and 20 of them might do the action you are looking for
I think 300 visitors for a new site is pretty good, but then again you might get a lot more conversation ratio on a site with 300 visitors than with 3,000, so it really depends on the quality of traffic
It doesn't depend on so much the number of visitors, but the number of actions they perform, you may get more conversion ratio from the 300 than the 3000
When you feel you have done ll you can do for the moment and you are making money. I get 800 a day and still have pages and link building that need to be done. Sometimes you can spread yourself to thin but its your choice.
