    Hello everyone!
I have made my site http://distractedstudents.com public around 10 days ago. And I have been posting around 2-3 post on an average daily. The stats show that I have 30 visitors daily now on an average out of which around 20-25 come from search engines. Is it a good start? Or should I be changing my strategies somewhere? Actually, I am a newbie, so I want to know if these many visitors are fine for a just started website. Please let me know!

The start is just about ok. You can go for SEO and SMO strategies to further boost the visitors count on your website. Bookmarkings, article submissions can be the right way to get more traffic.

Seems like a very good start to me, especially if the visitors are finding you on the search engines. Keep up the work and see how you're doing after 30 days. If visitor numbers are still growing, then you're on the right track.

Thanks a ton for your reply. The number of visitors are growing everyday. Though not exponentially, the increase is about 2-3 daily. I do hope, this increase of visitors continues. I am trying everything to do on-page SEO. I am just having some problems with off-page SEO. Can you give some suggestions?

The best thing you can do is just keep writing great content. Social media is huge these days, so if you can get people to share via facebook, twitter, stumbleupon, etc, then you should be able to generate even more traffic. It's a tough business though, and there aren't any easy options.

I think for a started website this traffic or visitor is quite okey. Don't get panic. Besides this you can start SEO and SEM as well as social network marketing for your website.

You want to be targeting thousands of keywords to really be effective with your method. Search engine traffic depends on many keywords and posts. I create authority sites and you can check out my site here : :

That's a good start, I would say, especially if the traffic is coming from search engines. Do you have Analytics installed?

That's great! Really have something you can build on. Make sure you use all the social networks to build and drive traffic:

    facebook
    twitter
    pinterest

You have some incredible images...you should be ALL over Pinterest. Heck, I'd re-pin you! I get a TON of traffic everyday from Pinterest.

I would try stumbleupon next, as I've heard that many people get some awesome results from using it. You need one of your pages to go viral though, so it needs to be content that people like to charge - controversial, funny, etc.

You have a good start, but need to push yourself to broaden your advertising in the social network, blogging, forums, local ads, and etc.

I would say to you. Keep doing what you doing.
Probably you are doing better than some people here.
