Why does Google show only about a quarter of the true number of link backs to a site? Yahoo and all the other major search engines show the correct amount but not on Google. Is there a reason Google doesn't count all link backs?
I just checked my backlinks because I have seen a huge reduction in traffic in the last couple of days. I still have thousands of inbounds all over the place. Can't figure out the drop in traffic?
I think the big "G" is going through an update by the looks of it. I noticed a big drop like this for a few days before my PR changed and the amount of my backlinks had a big change. Also the amount of pages indexed. I am noticing big changes like this again. Hold on to your hats! It's a bit frustrating but the increase in traffic after was very good. It's almost like Google catches up with you. hehehehe..
Google doesn't, but doesn't mean they are not aware of them. If you do a search on google for www. yourdomainname .com you'll got more results for sites linking to your domain.
Yeah you are still ahead of the 'G', Cheap SEO Services you are proactive Maybe they are reactive!!!!!!!
This is a wellknown problem. However, my concern is ... is the PR algorithm base on the ERROR backlink result ?
try "yoursite.com" . This shows all the backlinks google is crawling. yahoo & msn update backlinks very fast. G updates usually once in 3 months. G shows backlinks only from major sites.
My site used to get some organic traffic from google and all of a sudden it plummetted. I didn't make any change to my pages. wonder what happened?
