Number of Clicks Suddenly Increased!

Dear friends, on my site, number of clicks suddenly increased, as I dont found any change in users/traffic its normal as I am receiving about 40-60 uniques/day as per statcounter stats, but last day:

Uni/day 50
Impression 2100
clicks 233

and according to statcounter stats no one user going more than 2-4 pages. But its strange how these impressions and clicks generated, and this is happening from about last 4 days and I dont found any returning visitor.
What you think about it, is its a click bombed?.

But one important thing that my site arrived at 2-4th pages on google on some average and high search keywords.

However I also send email to google about this situation and awaiting reply.

 

Thats about 10% CTR, which is fine in my opinion. YES, search engine traffic clicks the most. So this trend could be directly related to it.

On the safer side, just check if u r getting any increase in visitors from other blogs/websites etc or any direct traffic increase? If there is no major change, you are fine.

Secondly and most importantly, dont PANIC and dont listen to newbies who tell you to report to google when u fart

 

No, that is most definately NOT fine since your uniques are only 50. You are definitely being click bombed. You emailed them though, so you should be ok.

 

I agree with Kennedy, someone is clicking to many times. 4 times per each visitor ain't right.

 

Report it to google, just to be safe.......

mail it to google ASAP. and pull your ad if you want to be safe. i've been clickbombed with thousands of clicks.

 

Check if them came from the same IP..

I agree that you should contract google adsense support let them know what 's going on. At least it will help you to prove that you don't want to cheat google.

 

Actually it wont prove anything but it's a good idea never the less.
And thankfully he has already sent the email, as stated in the first post.

Thanks friends for guiding, as I already sent email to google and awaiting reply, and now my last day statcounter stats are:

Uni/day 37
Impression 1793
Cliks 160

and there is no returning/ same IP visitor, but one thing that not only content ads clicks increased I also found increase in search Queries, normally my queries was less than 20 but now a days these are 50 plus, so, I dont think that any click bomber generating gueries and clicking on search results.

So, friends what you think about statcounter stats, are these ok ?. or if there is something missing, as I already told you that my site now a days arrived at good postion on some average and high volume search keywords.

 

Getting a high click per search query ratio is not uncommon, but your numbers are still very strange. Even if the visitor is using search queries, it's still unlikely that they would click on 4 ads for each unique visit.
