    Hi there,

I have noticed that the number of the Clicks have been decreased for about 20 to 25 % for one of my sites in the last one week.

    The traffic is constant.

Can anyone tell me please how to fix this problem.

    Regards

Change your ad placement, esepcially if you have a lot of returning visitors. After a while they tend to ignore ads that are in familiar areas of your site.

The problem could also be related to the advertisements being displayed. If an advertiser runs out of money, those ads are not served. It's possible those advertisers had ads which appealed to your visitors.

If it has not been a gradual drop in clicks, chances are it is the ads being displayed on your site. You can use Google's Adsense Preview Tool and remove up to 200 advertisers. You may find some MFA sites or bad ads you wish to block.

The economy is getting worse, so more companies are tightening their belts. And people, short on cash, will be less inclined to click on ads that remind them of having no money to shop with.

    Good luck

What content is being displayed? People aren't shopping around much anymore because of the economy

It's only been one week, I think you should wait a little longer to evaluate the situation.

    Hi there,

    Thanks all for your replies.

It has been happening to only one site.

I think the following actions can overcome this problem.

    1. Creating more unique content so that more new visitors come.

    2. Changing the Ads position and color.

    3. Put the ad above the fold.

    4. Blocking some non-relevant ads.

If anyone has any more suggestions then I will be thankful for them.

    Regards

People like to see something new when they visit your site. So some changes could help boost your earnings.

You might want to try rotating your ad colors, it might help reduce ad blindless a little bit at least. Adsense has been down lately for me also and I have more traffic than before.

Blend your ads into your site above the fold. The more they look like content the better off you will be.
