< Number of Adsense Publishers >

I just wondered whether Google has ever published the number of (active) Adsense publishers? Or has someone else any remotely accurate information on this?

 

I think no one knows

But it i think they are about 1 million

there are 8 million active site over the internet , about 15 % showes google adsense and precentage is growing

 

15% is way to much I think.... maybe somewhere around 5%??

 

yea true no one really knows.. only the GOOGLE knows it!

 

Last year, Google paid 3.1 billion to publishers. 1 million publishers would mean on average, a publisher gets 3100 dollars per year. I'm thinking that's on the high side, so there are probably more publishers.

 

Lol, there are so many blogs, websites, and all kind of stuff emerging on the internet today so that is not chance there are google ads on 15% of them...lol, no way possible.

 

i think they dont want to declare this ...........

 

i read it on a news website discussing adsense and msn adcenter competition , they said 500,000 publishers are with google

 

So, i see lots of answer, but nothing concrete as of such

 

Hey FairyOfLove, Google likes to keep everything hidden (as we all know) so expecting a concrete number is wishful thinking.
I would like to know this too, in fact we were just discussing it a few days back at the office.

we can only guess.. Google will never let people know the exact figure.
Its probably their business secret. Though its increasing day by day..

 

Check DP's pub-id and check pub-id of people who recently joined.

 

What is relevance of that , Pub Nos. are not in increasing or decreasing order
