    Hi Everyone,

I have 5 keywords and I created 3 ads for each keywords separately. I have a confusion here, I want to run these 15 ads in one ad group. Is it best practice??
Otherwise I need to create 5 ad group for 5 keywords and in each i need to put my 3 ads.

Here I am trying to do split testing with ads.

    Please share you thought here.

    Thanks

    Hi Rockjadon,

Given the infos you provided, it seems these 5 keywords are not closely related to each other and that is why you created 3 ads for each keyword, right?
    If that is the case,
It is better to create five different adgroups for each keyword and split test 2 ads at a time, or 3. There is much more to split testing which I won't go into details here.

But that is just my general answer.

The answer may vary depending on how closely related those keywords are and what their search volume is.
For example, if their search volume is low, then it doesn't make sense to create an adgroup just for it if you think about the 80/20 rule.

@Rock, I agree with ineedtalents. You should try creating 5 ad groups with each keyword and then you can simply split test your ads. It would not be possible for you to run ads separately for each keyword within a ad group.

Also note that 1 keyword per ad group (after you split) is usually too low, and to test ads well, you want to first create good ad groups with closely related and well conceived words.
