Number 1 with no traffic ?

I've tried a little experiment with some SEO tricks and a particular keyword. For my keyword I'm now number 1 in google, but my page receives zero hits a day. The keyword is "Get Twitter Followers" Any idea what is going on?

I'm completely stumped...

Maybe because your logged into google? Try logging out, clearing you cache and searching.

 

ahhh...that makes sense, did that and now I'm on page 4...more accurate.

Yep, personalized search will trick you every time, or you have to figure you have ranked number one for a really low-search volume phrase like: I can't seem to get any twitter followers because I don't have a twitter account

 

• check google adwords keyword tool and see how many people search for your keyword ?
  
  
• Check if your analytics tool installed properly or not
  
• Clear the cookies and search again

TRY THIS....

 

This could be wrong keywords chosen.Try with new keywords that really are generating traffic. You can find keywords using Google keywords suggestion tool.

 

haha, how about me mate?...i am always see my site on no 1 (log on or log out and always clear my cached) . But my friends say that my site on page 2,,,google want to cheat me? (because i do to many seo work)
