    Hello
I am stuck. I used to be on top in yahoo and google for many years. Now I hardly can find my site in yahoo. I will be glad to PM my URL if anybody could take a look and tell me what is wrong with my site

Ranking algorithums change all the time in different search engines. Maybe that is the reasons behind it. Have you cheched to see if your site is still indexed in Yahoo?

How long has it been like that in Yahoo? If it is only a couple days I'd wait a little longer and see if it comes back up.

Might want to consider paying the Yahoo Directory ransom...er, I mean yearly review fee. I've seen that do almost instant wonders for sites in similar situations as yours.

I have no problems with that I rank as well in Yahoo as in Google almost at the same rank ,the problem with Yahoo is that it doesn't send any sufficient traffic.

My site is indexed pretty well. I mean 6,300 pages can be found in the index. I also can find my site on the 5th page for not very competitive keywords, but hardly can find it for major keywords in my theme.

That situation last since september 2006, I did not pay attention to that, but now decided to work over it and take my site back on top.

One of the problem I see, that I have lot of irrelevant outgoing links. Should I worry about it? What I should do it?

Did anybody told that paying for inclusion help to achieve a better ranking?

I don't know about Yahoo directory, but I do know all my sites are nowhere on Yahoo, and on the first page of Google, for most of my targeted keywords. why such a big difference?

Yes, you should worry about irrelevant outgoing links. That can get your site in trouble not just in yahoo, but in google as well. Several messages on this board suggest that yahoo has really turned up the 'spam protect' dials on their engine. So get rid of all spammy signals on your site and then see if your site can't get back up in the yahoo serps.

That was my question about. I think there is no harm for site if a link from irrelivant site points to me. But what is the best way to get rid of irrelivant links from my site? Should I just add noindex tag to those pages?

Beacause Yahoo really bring some valuable traffic. Not as big as google, but still enough to make few thousands a month :)
