Tell me the disadvantage of nulled vbulletin and advantage of lincensed vbulletin? and if i used nulled vbulletin on my site is that any negative effect on my google adsense account? Note: im not gonna use nulled version, i just need info on that
Disadavantage is that it is illegal ! You will undoubtedly be chased by Piracy Reports who are appointed agents for vB. No, there will be no negative effect on adsense.
There is absolutely no difference whatsoever between using a nulled forum and a licensed forum, except one. A licensed forum is legal, a nulled forum isn't. Eventually, if you plan on getting major traffic on your forum, you'll probably get a legal threat from their piracy guy, Howard G Spinks, who is the biggest prick I've ever met on the Internet (he sent me a legal threat while I was in the midst of changing URLs for my license with the vBulletin support team, and refused to listen to my reasoning as to why I had that URL unlicensed). Get a licensed one bro, you'll also get access to vbulletin.org.
Yep, agree, I have also run into Howard Spinks as a webhost and was forced to close on of my customers forums. They will get you in the end even with the best nullified script.

Nulled disadvantage: Nulled versions are known to have more security holes. Nulled versions may contain backdoors to the system running the nulled version (placed by the people when they nulled vBulletin). Nulled versions have no official support. Nulled versions are illegal in almost all cases, which can lead to several things; JelSoft has a method that allows people (think competitors) to enter URLs of suspected sites that they later check to see if the version is authentic or nulled, JelSoft can contact your provider to have the site suspended, JelSoft can shoose to seek legal action against you. Using a nulled version could lead to your AdSense account being banned if JelSoft contacts Google. Nulled versions sometimes run faster because they have been hacked, but you could apply the same hacks to a registered version (though that voids the warranty/support).
A nulled vBulletin isn't worth the trouble. If you can't buy one then use a open source forum software such as phpBB, SMF, MyBB, etc.
Only way in which you will get caught using a nulled script is by getting reported. Just like rapdishare links get reported then die on warez forums. It's the same for nulled software. Theres always someone that will grass you up. Just buy it or use a free software. ( mybb being my favourite and similar to vb )
hello djhassoo, well I see you are running finally a Vbulletin board, my advice in general is trying to use open sources boards like phpbb boards or similar I think it s not necesary use nulled scripts if you can find open sources solutions, sometimes much better than expensives scripts, and with a very good support regards
It annoys me that you cant use 2+ forums with 1 licesnse. I paid for it I should be able to use it now how ever I want. Can JelSoft track you for using 1 license on 2 forums?
You paid for what they offered, meaning you agreed to their terms when you bought it. Can they track it? I don't know, but if anybody reports it to them, they are likely to retract your current license.
Just curious how would you search to see if somone was using duplicate licesnses (1 licesnse 2 forums).
