    Hello All DP-ers,

NudeBollywood.com Sold At $35,250 (Reference DnJournal)

"Bollywood" is the Indian movie-making industry like the "Hollywood".

So how much is NudeHollywood.mobi ?

Say, if NudeBollywood.com is worth 35,250 bucks, then NudeHollywood.com is worth 100,000 bucks.

Then NudeHollywood.mobi should atleast be worth 10,000 bucks.

    Am I correct ?

.mobi is just too tacky, unless some actually uses it the right way

Yeah, .mobi is the deal breaker there. It'd be great if it took off the way domainers would like, but it's still relatively obscure (to the general public).

Most places I've seen offering .mobi domains charge more than a .com, so I can't imagine the .mobi extension ever taking off. Heck, .us and .info still get little or no respect.

    No.

.mobi is not worth anywhere near a .com. At this stage I'd say that it would be worth Mid to High $xx

All places that sell .mobi costs more than a .com. So you are saying that because a .mobi costs more than a .com, it has no hope of taking off???? Have you seen some of the sales of .mobi even though it's only 5 months old?

I hate the way people compare .mobi's with .com's.Dot com's have been around for awhile and has earned it's status as a top domain for marketing. Dot mobi's on the other hand are still in the womb. It's like going out and buying a football and not knowing the sex of the baby.Althought there are girls playing football!:D High prices for a good .com are a given.High prices for a dot mobi could be a mistake!

Actually what I'm saying is that because it's a new domain name extension is has little chance of taking off anytime soon when older domain extensions still haven't really earned respect.

With the price being higher, buyers will be likely to gravitate toward more established domain extensions when they can't get the .com/.net/.org, like the .us extension, and to a lesser extent, .info and .biz.

There will be (has been) a rash of buying .mobi for the really appealing names - the same sort of thing people were rushing to buy when .us and .info came out - but just about the only ones to really benefit from the .mobi extension are going to be the registrars. They know this, and that's why the extension is more expensive - so they can PROFIT from the SUCKERS thinking they can make a fast buck. Some will, but most people will end up shafted.

.mobi suits more for mobile sites

So Maybe You Can Devlop it yourself and sell it later when the extension is more in demand
