NTLDR Missing

    hello ppl..

    I ve a error called ntldr when i switch on my pc. i have re installed the OS again and still it continues after a few days.. does anyone else too have the same problem? It aint a virus!!

    It happened to me when i was using XP, you basically have corrupt hard disk or didn't do a proper format and reinstall of OS.
    How i fixed is, i partition the hard disk, then use the other partition to install OS.

    yes, the problem probably is because of corrupted hard drive. Maybe you are getting bad sectors. Try to scan it with HDD regenerator, HDAT or other tool. If the tool find a bad sector, and after reboot it's still there maybe your hard drive is broken. It also can be because of defected power supply.

    If the problem persists even after a re-partitioning and re-installation, Enter your BIOS setup and check for the drive's access mode. It must be "Auto" or "LBA". If it's CHS or Large, make it Auto and there you go.

    not always due to a virus. there is a possibility there are errors in your bios settings. because usually if you are overclocking your computer and do the settings that are less stable then the same thing will happen. but can also be exposed to viruses to your computer "gudbai" .. maybe you can find information on the forums that discuss about hacking.
