    I need some help!

Haha. I know the number one suggestion I'm going to get. "Update more often." Yeah, I know. I really want a better logo... but am having so much trouble designing one. Anyone know of any good tutorials for this? I finally got a PR 2! But traffic has decreased (probably due to the lack of updates). I want to sell ad space, but that's a ways off. Check out my blog http://biz-tone.blogspot.com, tell me what you think would help improve! Thanks a ton guys! :)

Get a domain to redirect to it? Or move everything to an actual domain. I feel people are more likely to buy or view your site if you have a domain.

Also you should join paid to blog programs.
And pixel2life.com has great tutorials. I use them all the time.

I agree, like many a comment I have received from youtube videos of mine (ok maybe just one) blogspot sucks!

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure there are many successful blogs hosted there and all that but I think people take you more seriously if you have your own domain.

Yeah domains stand out. For a few bucks a year then can probably double your usual earnings.

Blogspot is great for a general public but it's not that great for pro bloggers unless they're trying to start a trend.

I'm far from pro, wouldn't even consider myself semi, but it's nice to have your own domain

Well pro as in you're doing it for money and as a 'profession' sort of. lol it just looks more presentable than a subdomain.

Yeah I think that takes a unique type of talent. Sort of a born with it sort of scenario.

I had one successful rant blog via a site called diaryland. I linked to my design and services site and received some nice traffic but I didn't earn anything much from the site itself.
I had about 100 avid readers and about 500 hits a day :). Wasn't bad for some lousy written journal either.

You are obviously trying to earn money, which means you are a professional. As such, you need to get serious.
Get your own domain, and open up the wallet and get a design that looks professional, and stay steady with your updates.

You will not get lucky in this business, it takes work.
