I advertised my site with google adwords last month using using VCC,Now my credit card had been declined since google try to charge more than what avaialble....
I recived 2 emails regarding the payment Collection after few Days, But Today i recived a such email, Now i dont know what to do? Do they google take Action on Website Owner...

:We recently contacted you regarding receivables due for your AdWords account 2xxxxxx172. The outstanding balance is the amount of INR 10,590.09 for this invoice with an overall outstanding balance of INR 10,590.09 on the account.

If payment in full is not received within fifteen days, we will forward your account to our external collections agency.

Any advice Please......

I think its around 210$, Not Big Money...so Google Wont Consider........Frankly I dont Know.....

I would suggest paying the debt off. It would suck to let about $210 ruin your credit.

I'm pretty sure that with Google you can set a limit to how much you spend on your ads per day...did you read everything over before starting your campaign? Setting a daily limit would have most likely prevented this...

The campaign which i created took default bid!!!!! & thus the consequence....I used vcc from my bank, Is there any way to find out me.....Previously I never advertised in google.....Is there any way to find the vcc holder.... & I advertised myreal websites ( 2).....Will they catch..........They dont have real information....
can i change my whois information.......I did not earned not even 1$ .........Any suggestions please....

 

No cops will come but your credit may get screwed up some. If you don't have the money now, I think it would be honorable to pay it off as much as you can making payments.

Depending on where you live, a company can sue you for the amount owed, but if you are making payments on it you should be ok. And usually, for just a couple hundred bucks they won't go to all that trouble.

Yes. The bank will keep records of that VCC and who's account the money came from as well as the IP address of the computer that it was issued to at what time of the day, etc. Banks are considered secure because they take steps to follow the money.

Really, just try to pay it off, even if it's a little at a time. It's better than stressing out.

I am from india & Will google track the Original Vcc Holder.....or follow up the website advertised.......Bcos i earned none from those clicks.......I noticed that email 3 days back....but i opened the account march first week......

Also i wrote an email to collection team to waive...

 

The amount is not really very high and you should perhaps try to pay up as much as you could and explain your position to them.

Your website would definitely be picked up by google and they may put a blanket ban on it...but I doubt they would go as far...particularly since amount involved is insignificant.

I believe it is your fault for leaving your Adwords unnoticed and now you got to pay for it. There is no way to waive for it because it was due to your actions of not looking after it. Just because you didn't earn from their program, doesn't mean you don't have to pay them. Their policy is to generate clicks and that is what you got clicks, but clicks that couldn't convert which was a big loss for you. I think you should have read more about Adwords before actually perusing it. Take it as a lesson, a site owner must balance out a budget as to how much they can spend on advertising and how much they can't, and in your case, you didn't think of either. There is no free advertising, and now you are left having to pay for the debt. Pay for it because it was your fault and not Google's. If you don't there will be circumstances for sure and you should be surprised with either.

 

Thanks for Continuing your thread......But Google dont have my address.....Will they follow up by Whois information for my website....As of now i dont have any money as well even to my 10k Indian rupees, .....They ads group took the max bid.....& recieved clicks.....
Support system said if i am not going to pay, they said they will forward my account to Collection team...

 

So this would be international collections? I am not sure too many collection agencies will spend much on that, but just do some freelance work and pay up.

 

Well, 200 bucks is really not a big money, but if Google really wants to catch, you have no choice. The thing is, company like Google, must have already collection team type of companies around the world. So they must have corporate contacts in India too.

The next disadvantage is, what if they just block you domain, IP blocks etc, you may destroy your future internet business with Google...

First, Google will track everything. Since you have a unique adsense id, it is tied to your name. You paid with a VCC, which will be tracked to the bank account it was tied to. More than that, whenever you log in to a bank account online, your IP number is tracked.

So yes, EVERYTHING can be tracked.

It sounds to me like this is not your bank account, perhaps?

It's very easy to trace people. These systems are set up specifically for tracking users.

I never used my name or address with adwords account, but vcc belong to me....I accessed or login few times from Home IP(USA) not proxy and i opened account through Indian home Ip using teamviewer...............Will they affect my presence in USA.....
