Check this guys chair out! HAHAHA! Looks like his favorite chair just broke on him. I think I could work with something like that. From his blog: Read the rest here...
That doesn't look comfortable at all. Its hard for me to type with my animals laying on me, and they dont even lay on my arms.
His position is more suited to a Bed.. I alway blog from my bed... Pillows propped up.. another pillow on my groin where I keep the laptop... I hope the pillow will protect me from radiations
He's got the right idea! I've used a laptop since 1998 and for the last four years, my home office is my recliner. Sometimes I recline all the way back with my laptop on my knees, other times I sit up right with my laptop on the arm of my recliner or in my lap. I have a cordless mouse with wireless internet. An end table next to my recliner to place my mouse/pad and a few external drives, lamp, etc. Directly in front of me, across the room, is a Toshiba 50 inch big screen with Yahama home theater receiver/dvd/cd/cable box and Klipsch speakers (two mains, two satellites in rear and subwoofer). I couldn't imagine working anyway else. I can work in absolute comfort and watch TV, listen to music or watch a favorite movie with the click of my remote!
You infidel! I'm with you man. This is usually my view from 10:00 PM until 5:00 AM. I use my couch, but everything is pretty much the same as what you described. Well, I don't own a TV but the rest sounds about right.
Hey I swear when I get up everything moves back into its normal position. My wrists aren't in their orientation in that picture due to the huge weight on my little dog. Who coincidentally has a blog of his own of course www.rubinman.co.uk anyway my new chair doesn't go quite as far back but it did take me a couple of years to bend my old chair into that position Terry www.hotigloo.co.uk
You must have very strong neck muscles because i get agony in my neck just from sitting in the cinema for a couple of hours, i dont know how you manage it but what ever suits you and makes you comfy.
