Arjun Rampal and Shah Rukh Khan share a special friendship and bond. When Rampal was down and out in his career, it was SRK who offered him his award winning role in Om Shanti Om and helped revive his career. So when it came down to Arjun launching his new restaurant Lap in Delhi, he made it a point to postpone it until best bud SRK was back in town from shooting in the U.S. for My Name is Khan. A source close to Arjun confirmed the postponed launch, “Arjun and SRK are extremely close and Arjun makes sure he is present at all parties thrown by SRK. The two have been good friends ever since they bonded on the sets of Farhan Akhtar’s Don in 2006. This time when Arjun was throwing a party, he wanted SRK to attend it. But, SRK is currently shooting in San Francisco for My Name is Khan and is later going to London with wife Gauri and kids for a three-week holiday. He’ll be back in India only by the end of July. SRK told Arjun that he’ll be free to attend the launch only in August and hence Arjun postponed the launch of his restaurant.†The restaurant is in collaboration with restaurateur AD Singh and has been designed by Sandeep Khosla.
SRK have many close friends in industry and his friendship with arjun rampal will not make any difference at all.
