Finally, Google spidered more pages on our site ~4,000. However, all but 500 are now in supplemental hell. Meanwhile, our competitors get tens of thousands of pages in their full listing. Why does Google hate our site? Our site: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=site:bytemycode.com&btnG=Google+Search Our competitor's site: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&q=site:snipplr.com&btnG=Search Both have about the same type and volume of purely unique content. Why is our's supplemental and theirs not? Is there anybody I can contact at Google to get them to more fairly index our site?
well you can't control google and thier site, but you can control your website. do you think they will give you the special treat when you contact them?
You obviously need backlinks to the deepest pages of your website before they are included in the main index of google. Try doing a static sitemap for your site and link to it from every page, or at least the home page.
Change your page titles to start with and by the looks of it you are being de-indexed (for now) I can only see 5 pages and none are supplemental.
turfsniffer, does it really help? my website has different title in everypage, but still de-indexed. It took about 10 days all my pages buried under SERP (be in page 3 and more in any keyword that might found me site)
Not really Tony I was just suggesting he fix those titles anyway. I am just after looking at one of my sites and found every single page in the supplemental, dropped to well over #500 in the results, traffic dropped and Adsense earnings dropped.....thank you Google for doing such a wonderful job! Enough of that rant
