Now Hiring: Virtual Marketing Assistant W/Strong Writing Skills (Steady Job)

    Seeking a dependable virtual marketing assistant with strong native English writing skills to handle various IM tasks. After a brief trial period, this will be an on-going, steady freelance position with new assignments every week.

    We’ll begin with 2-3 days per week (between 16-24 hours weekly). There will be opportunity for more days/hours if you are talented and a good, dependable worker.

    Preferably, you should be available on either Skype, Gmail chat or AIM for daily communication.

    QUALIFICATIONS (please read thoroughly BEFORE making contact -- note that the first 4 are MUSTS):

    1. MUST be a strong writer. You MUST be able to write great original articles with US English phrasing/grammar. All articles must pass copyscape. “Spun” articles or non-native English phrasing won’t work -- only high-quality native English writers will be considered.
    2. MUST have a good knowledge of personal-development topics, and be able to write and comment on this subject very well.
    3. MUST be comfortable submitting articles to directories, creating HTML links, posting to blogs, forum posting, creating Squidoo Lenses, Hub pages, etc.
    4. MUST have basic web skills, including updating/ adding content, basic image/graphic editing, simple WYSIWYG page editing, etc.
    5. SEO knowledge is a huge plus, as is email marketing experience, SEM experience, the ability to proofread and edit sales copy, and perform keyword research.
    6. Any other skills you can bring to the table will weigh heavily in your favor (ie: video/camtasia creation/editing, HTML, graphics/site creation skills, autoresponder/email marketing skills, etc).

    THE JOB:

    This position offers lots of variety: some days you will only write and submit articles--other days you will post comments on forums, re-size images, perform keyword research, etc. You may also be called upon to critique or create sales copy, assist in creating new products, do social bookmarking and many other IM related tasks.

    THE PAY:

    Payment will be made by Paypal. I will make daily payments for the first few days as a show of good faith. This will change to a regular once-a-week payday once we have established a working relationship.
