The SEO Specialist oversees and manages all aspects of organic search engine optimization across all Funbox web properties. This role will be responsible for evaluating the current state of the company sites and developing and implementing a comprehensive search engine optimization strategy to improve the company's natural search results, increase sales and increase brand and site visibility. The candidate also needs to have PHP/HTML skills, as they are responsible for updating the current websites with necessary SEO updates regularly. Responsibilities · Utilize Keyword research and harvesting · Develop keyword list segmentation · Assist and analyze the optimization of website text. Ability to write creative marketing copy would be an advantage but not a necessity. · Consult on landing page strategies · Ability to update current websites written in PHP with necessary SEO updates in accordance with search engine algorithm changes. · Identifying emerging search engine algorithm trends. · Analyzing search engine ranking positions and ROI and implementing strategies to improve search engine visibility and ROI. · Improving web sites search engine visibility and ROI via “on page†and “off page†SEO strategies. · Optimizes various web site components including title tags, meta-descriptions, keyword density, internal linking, site map, etc. · Works in conjunction with the Creative and Technology departments to coordinate new Web site releases and enhancements to current websites in order to ensure that they meet SEO requirements for ranking highly on all major search engines. Required experience · 2+ yrs min experience in SEO (Search engine optimization – Organic/Natural search) and 1 year min experience in HTML and PHP coding is a mandatory. · Very High level knowledge and Experience of Internet marketing strategies, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) in particular (Have optimized websites to rank very well for high level and low level keywords/phrases), landing page optimization, Keyword analysis and Link building knowledge. · Ranking and site traffic measurement knowledge is also a big plus. · Outstanding organizational skills · Strategic planning skills · Direct experience with paid search bid management tools such as Adwords, Overture/Yahoo and MSN ad center would be an advantage. · Working knowledge of website management and design best practices. · Excellent analytical and communication skills · Ability to multi task and manage competing deadlines Salary will be based on experience and you must be based in Sydney Australia or willing to relocate.
