Here are alot of people looking for work, I will not tolerate crap, or lazy people that doesn't do what I need correctly. So I have a
ONE AND DONE RULE. You mess up once, you are FIRED...
also bonus will be awared, when I feel as though you've done an excellent job. I may throw a raise in there too..
Remember this is a per hour job and I need them done quick and to the EXACT SPECS that I'd layed out. If you think you are going to try to
squeeze as many possible hours for each job then you must be mistaken.

You won't find quality workers at $1.5 a hour I doubt so don't start complaining. You get what you pay for in most cases.

I agree with Cows...how do you expect to find quality, responsible workers at such a low rate? Most could make more forum posting then that, and for research work, and a fixed rate, that is utterly ridiculous...

I'm sorry, but no respecting freelance writer will work for that.

$1.5 = nothing, the standard wage is like 4-5 times that... i cant see how you can set such "strong rules" with such a low pay..

Perhaps you should consider increasing your "wage" to atleast $5-8 and that isn't even much, just imo! but can see from other replies im not the only one who thinks this.

If your site is'nt making much (only my assumption from the wage offer) perhaps resume being solo? until you have more income to pay som1 more.

Dont take offence to this, i just would hate to see som1 working hard for $1.5 especially a DP member.

More like 50-80 bucks a hour for some of that work. Trying to get one person to do it all would mean more.

    What is this, slavery?

Don't bring the wage rate down, terribly.

That's like 6 times lower than the minimum wage nationally, of $7/hr.

Minimum wage has nothing to do with work like this.
Go look around and you will see jobs like this offer HIGH wages. Fast food places offer minimum wage.

This has got to be illegal. $1.5 per hour. That is ridiculous.
If you are charging per hour then that is below minimum wage. Charging to have a job done is completely different

Nothing illegal about it. Keep in mind that the "minimum wage" is a local law (applying only to your state, territory or country). If someone is wanting to hire for 1.5 an hour they have all the legal rights in the world to try it.

You are right thought, they will probably not find a good worker for that.

I would be glad to double the pay right now to $3/hr=) If anyone wants to work on link building for me for $3/hr then give me a PM=).

(I am not necessarily looking to find a worker, I am just illustrating absurdities=)

I'm not bashing but your right it, minimum wage is considered "locally" so depending on what state you live in (and if you are running a legit business for profit) you have the right to pay what you want if minimum wage doesn't apply to your state locally, but you have to follow the higher standards of the U.S. Department of Labor, in other words federal laws could come back to you for such a low wage and somebody can legally sue you in court, and undoubtedly win.

So with that said, I suggest you change your request to charging for some jobs done for a price of each item you ask for completed with pay of your choice if what your asking for is a good business relationship. When you say $1.50 or even $3 that is not easy on the eye.

$1,5 per hour is downright pathetic. It clearly shows a disgraceful lack of respect towards hard-working people living outside the west. This should be classified as 'slavery' and made illegal. Completely, utterly disgusting.

Dude $1.50 is a joke. Even for people working out of countries like India, Romania, etc -
As the old saying goes, You will get what you pay for.

Consider paying your freelance workers a decent rate and you will get a quality service in the end.
