now google requesting mobile verification after sign up email

google now verifying with mobile verification after sign up, is any body aware about this

 

Yeah sometimes when I create a new gmail account, they ask for mobile verification.

 

Yes, if you try to create accounts more than maybe 4 or 5 from the same IP in a day or hour (might be) then you will be asked for mobile verification.

 

oh , but i didnt create any account. i just have 2 to 3 , thats it, may be you correct, but i didnt done like that

 

Ya I got the same experience. I made 15 fake gmail ids from office id and now google ask always for mobile verification when creating new account. I can make 1 id in 2-3 days easily from my personal IP with any mobile verification.

 

I made new account yestarday and they didn't ask email verification.

 

I think that it's an excellent idea it stops the wholesale abuse of the system.
