Now Google Can read text from images !!

    I noticed this few days back and decided of sharing this with all of you !!

    Yes this is true Check Google Catalogs
    Search something ... uuum .. like i searched for "Computers"

    and got this below Image Result with "Computers" Highlighted !!

    Do can we conclude from this that Google Really discovered something with the help of which it can read text from Images ??

    IMO, Google can only read text from SOME, PREPROCESSED images. Real time tracing is yet a difficult task...

    Not THAT difficult....I guess I also figured out a way to do it...but you need to have knowledge of working with images in php/asp etc

    I'm only curious... With your solution, how long does it take to process an image, let's say, 468 x 60, with 10 words ?

    I think it's only a matter of time before it can be done with any image on the internet. Kinda scary...kinda cool. :D
